What’s Holding You Back from Reaching Your Wildest Dream?

Often clients reach out to me when they are feeling exhausted, burned out & at the end of their rope.
Here are 3 statements I ask them to consider:

  • If I had the money I would….
  • If I just had the time I would….
  • If I wouldn’t hurt anyone’s feelings I would….

Completing these statements can be the first step into discovering what will drive you forward & what is holding you back.

Could coaching be part of your strategy? I’m not so much a believer in willpower. I’m definitely not into someone telling me what to do and when to do it. Perhaps that’s why I became an entrepreneur in the first place. I am, however, fully committed to accountability. I deliver on my commitments to clients; my guess is you are the same way. That is why I believe the method of coaching I use is a good fit for solopreneurs & entrepreneurs.

I don’t have a one size fits all coaching formula for you and I’m not the demanding taskmaster who will set you straight. However, I can help you remove the obstacles that keep you from achieving success and satisfaction. Especially if the obstacles are not currently clear to you.

One of my clients is Becca, a professional dancer & ballroom dance competitor who makes her living teaching people to dance, including ballroom competitors & adult social dancers.  She is very good at what she does, and she wanted something more. Becca sees herself as a teacher, an educator, and an impassioned advocate for young people in the performing arts

A dancer since the age of 5, Becca’s dream was to help young people experience the passion, the joy & the freedom of artistic expression. Guiding them with patience and grace. If you have ever been involved with competition, sports teams being the most common example, you know that patience and grace can be in short supply.

Formulating her dream began well before COVID and achieving it took many important steps over a span of 2 years.

One by one limiting beliefs rose up for Becca. I’m not good enough. I’m selfish. I have too much pride. What will others in the dance community think. Then there were the “Change-back” attacks by others who wanted her to stay in a comfort zone of their making. One by one these and other obstacles were identified, resolved or removed.

Finally, in the midst of the pandemic The Dance Collective was born, a competitive ballroom & Latin dance team for youth 9-19 years of age. Surrounded by encouragement, patience & fun they are taking the competitive dance world by storm, gaining top honors in their age categories.

It was a joy and a privilege to walk with Becca on this path to her wildest dream.

So, what is your wildest dream? How can I help you to make it happen?
